Rocky is great friends with all of the pups and spends a lot of time with all of them, but there are times in the show where Rocky is closer with certain pups.
"Green means go, to the North Pole!" ("Pups Save a Bah Humdinger!"). "Let's recycle the trash!" ("Jet to the Rescue"). "Green means glow!" ("Mighty Pups, Super Paws: Pups Meet the Mighty Twins"). "This one pup road crew is gonna make them take a wrong turn!" ("Mighty Pups"). "Wet, wet, wet!" (also when he gets wet). "Nooooo!" (usually leading him to getting wet). "Rocky to the rescue!" ("Pups and the Very Big Baby"). Being sprayed by Marshall (even though he never gets mad at Marshall about it). It would be very helpful if there was an episode focused on why Rocky does not like water. One episode he decided to take a bath because he was very smelly, another episode he was shouting in excitement when a whale launched him in the air with water, and another episode where he overcame his fears of water to swim underwater to grab a toy for a baby octopus and at the end he says "Hey, it's just water". There have been a few episodes where Rocky seems to not mind being in water or actually enjoying the water. Sometimes his odor causes the other pups to cringe, except for Everest, who is not bothered by strong odors.Įven still he gets along very well with his friends.ĭespite being a very smart and clever pup, Rocky has a strange and sometimes irrational fear of getting wet, which can hinder his ability to do his job.Īlthough it's not clear if he is scared of water or not, Rocky clearly does not like the feel of water because when he gets wet, he always says, "yuck", "now i'm gonna have that wet dog smell", or "wet, wet, wet!". Rocky seems to bond with his teammates by doing activities rather than by talking.īecause of his fear of water, he tends not to bathe himself as frequently as he should. He is generally kind and selfless, but sometimes hesitates to carry out a mission if his fears get in the way. Rocky is very mild-mannered, and is not easily upset. Such as Farmer Al's sheep shearer, Tracker's jeep (and presumably Everest's snowcat), a large field light for the Lookout, and most impressively, Robo-Dog. Rocky has helped Ryder build many things throughout the series. Rocky almost always has something useful to recycle, and his repair work is always a job well done.īut he is not only a good problem solver and repairman, he is also a talented mechanic and engineer. Throughout the show he has shown the ability to evaluate problems and quickly come up with solutions, and this is best seen when is called to repair things. Rocky's strong suite is his problem solving abilities. Rocky is one of the most clever and logical of the PAW Patrol pups. His pup tag is green and has a white universal recycling symbol. He has a green pup-pack and a metallic orange collar. His normal attire consists of a white and green ball cap with the PAW Patrol logo on front, and a fabric zipper vest with a bright blue belt. Rocky's uniforms all sport shades of bright green, although it isn't confirmed if this is Rocky's favorite color. Rocky's overall appearance makes him look similar to a grey wolf. Rocky is average sized compared to the other PAW Patrol members. His paws are bone white, and he has pointy ears, one floppy and one with a chip. Rocky has brown eyes, a trait shared with Chase, Rubble, and Tracker.įluffy tufts of fur protrude from the top of his head and the sides of his cheeks, and the fur on his tail fades from grey to white. 
He has dark whisker spots on his snout, and he has a black heart shaped nose, similar to Marshall. He has grey colored fur, with darker spots on his back, and a larger dark spot on his right eye.
Rocky is a mixed breed, but his true breeds are unknown.
